Hypnosis Motivation Institute

The Hypnosis Motivation Institute, otherwise know as the HMI College of Hypnotherapy, contacted Ethan’s agency to help increase the number of student enrollments throughout 2024 & 2025.

Background

HMI had been in business since the late 1960’s, becoming the country’s first accredited college of hypnotherapy. The business was largely family owned and operated, choosing to managing all promotion in-house until 2024. As a result, Slater’s team had plenty of historical data and benchmarks available to build upon and improve.

Challenges 

As mentioned, the HMI team had been managing paid digital in-house for years before contacting CSG. As a result they were hesitant to trust outside recommendations or try new things. Additionally, the existing website experience was outdated and unoptimized. The start of the relation was a bit rocky as Ethan’s team tried to prove the effectiveness of their recommendations.

The Approach

To achieve the registration goals HMI was looking for, Ethan’s team generated a omni-channel approach, focusing heavily on Meta and Google SEM. Additionally, they worked to create a more-optimized landing page experience to give HMI’s initial web experience to a more up-to-date look and feel.

Results & Data

Across the board, HMI saw improvements throughout 2024. CSG was able to drive growth and improved KPIs. The only notable decrease was a slight drop in HMI’s clickthrough rate on SEM; however, this was paired with an overall surge in clicks and conversions, meaning it dropped as a result of scale.
